About the Department for Infrastructure (DfI)

The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) employs around 3,000 staff and is responsible for maintaining and developing Northern Ireland’s infrastructure.

This role sits within the Transport and Road Asset Management (TRAM) Group, which is responsible for maintaining, managing and developing the transport network to ensure the safe and convenient movement of people and goods.

Industrial Road Workers operate within the Operations & Maintenance function, carrying out essential frontline road maintenance work across Northern Ireland.

Supporting benefits, pensions, housing, and employment services.

Department of Education
Ensuring teachers are paid and pensions are managed accurately.
