Universal Credit AO
Universal Credit is part of the Work and Health Group and one of the largest individual employers in the Department for Communities employing over 2,300 staff.
Our key priority is to assist 250,000 people to find work or increase the number of hours they work and to support claimants who are unable to work through timely and accurate provision of benefit payments. Universal Credit delivers services to its customers through a network of 35 Jobs and Benefits offices and 3 Service Centres.
UC Service Centre Case Manager (AO)
Each case manager has their own customer case load and engage with them mainly through the UCFS computer system via journal messages but also by telephone.
Case managers have an electronic work list which prompts the action to be taken on each case. This includes processing changes to ensure the customer’s account is up to date and they receive the correct amount of Universal Credit.
Ballykelly Universal Credit Advances
In this role, you’ll be the first point of telephone contact for customers applying for Universal Credit Advances. You’ll be the one who can make a difference for those who may be facing financial hardship and feeling vulnerable.
Lisahally Universal Credit Full Service
As part of a dynamic team, you will have an opportunity to support customers through their Universal Credit journey, so recipients are always better off in work, accessing support for housing costs, childcare, and extra elements for disability or caring responsibilities.
Lisahally Attendance Allowance Team
Attendance Allowance is a benefit supporting people of State Pension age who need help due to a disability or health condition. As a member of the team, you’ll register new claims for an important aspect of support for customers in later life. The Attendance Allowance team is a great opportunity to build expertise in a vital public service where you can grow and develop your career in a supportive environment.
Lisahally Personal Independence Payment (PIP) Telephony Team
As a PIP Case Worker, you’ll be at the heart of helping people with long-term health conditions or disabilities navigate the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) journey. Your role makes a real difference to some of the most vulnerable individuals in our society.
The Pension Centre
The Pension Centre is a high performing Centre focused on the delivery and maintenance of State Pension and Pension Credit. The Pension Centre also incorporates the Bereavement Service which enables a deceased persons representative to report a death and apply for bereavement benefits which they may be eligible for such as Bereavement Support Payment, Funeral Expense Payment or Child Funeral Fund.
