Thank you for your interest in a post in the NI Courts and Tribunals Service which provides a critical function within the justice system in Northern Ireland.  In our courtrooms our Administrative Officers play a vital role in keeping the justice system running smoothly.

Department of Finance (Land & Property Services)
Managing land registration, valuation, and property tax.

Department for Communities
Supporting benefits, pensions, housing, and employment services.

Department of Education
Ensuring teachers are paid and pensions are managed accurately.

Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA)
Supporting sustainable farming, climate goals, and rural communities.

What You’ll Do

Working in a fast paced, dynamic and collaborative environment, you would have an important role in ensuring the delivery of an essential public service.   You’ll receive full training and ongoing support to help you succeed in a variety of administrative roles and you will gain valuable insight into the Northern Ireland legal system.

Whether you're assisting jurors, processing legal documentation or preparing court papers, you'll be part of a team that directly supports the delivery of justice.  You will get the opportunity to meet a wide range of people and make a difference by providing a professional service to court users, our independent judiciary and justice partners.

We are looking for individuals from all parts of our community who are motivated, resilient and have the potential to become future leaders; people who want to be part of a professional, diverse and dynamic team.  You will need to be calm and organised when others around you are looking for direction and support.

Successful candidates will be provided with in-house training and throughout your time in NICTS you will have the opportunity to grow your career within a dynamic public service environment, undertaking work that is both interesting and rewarding.

The majority of posts within NICTS are wholly court based and not suitable for hybrid working.
