As an Administrative Officer (AO) in Land & Property Services (LPS), you’ll be part of the largest business area within the Department of Finance. LPS plays a vital role in delivering end-to-end land and property services across Northern Ireland, with a unique capability that spans the UK and Ireland.
What You’ll Do
LPS is currently recruiting Administrative Officers in the north-west of Northern Ireland, with opportunities in both the Revenues & Benefits Division and the Valuation Division.
Department of Finance (Land & Property Services)
Managing land registration, valuation, and property tax.
Department for Communities
Supporting benefits, pensions, housing, and employment services.
Department of Education
Ensuring teachers are paid and pensions are managed accurately.
Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA)
Supporting sustainable farming, climate goals, and rural communities.
Revenues & Benefits
You’ll play a key role in:
Assisting customers including ratepayers, solicitors, and estate agents with queries.
Supporting the recovery of rating debt through the application of legislation and court processes.
Helping ensure the smooth administration of Northern Ireland’s property tax system.
Valuation Services
You’ll be responsible for:
Providing accurate and efficient administrative support across rating and client casework.
Liaising with Valuers, clients, and internal teams to ensure timely case registration, closure, and documentation.
Maintaining compliance with internal procedures and service standards.
